Return & Exchange Policy

  

1. Circumstances in which Returns and/or Exchanges are allowed

      1.1. We permit returns and/or exchanges in the following instances:

      1.1.1. The incorrect product has been delivered to you.

      1.1.2. The product delivered to you is damaged or defective.

      1.1.3. The product has the incorrect size or specifications.

      1.2. We do not offer returns and/or exchanges on sale items:

      1.2.1. Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded. 

      2. When a Return and/or Exchange needs to be initiated

        2.1. Returns and/or exchanges need to be initiated within 14 days of the product having been delivered to you. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

        3. The choices you have upon Returning the Product

          3.1. When a product is returned to us you can:

          3.1.1. Have your account credited.

          3.1.2. Have the amount refunded to you.

          3.1.3. Have the product replaced/exchanged.

          4. How a Return and/or Exchange is initiated

            4.1. All returns and/or exchanges shall be initiated by means of an email sent to customercare@modesse.co.za setting out:

            4.1.1. the reason for the return.

            4.1.2. whether you would like the account credited or refunded or replaced/exchanged.

            4.1.3. the order number as proof of purchase.

            4.2.  Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

            5. Condition of the Product Returned 

              5.1. In returning the product to us, the following shall apply. The product needs to be:

              5.1.1. Undamaged.

              5.1.2. Unused.

              5.1.3. In the original packaging.

              5.1.4. Packaged and wrapped correctly and safely by you.

              6. Manner of Return

                6.1. We will require you to return the product to our offices at the following address: Stand 2642, 2 Dikkop Street, Southdowns Estate, Irene, Centurion, 0157.

                6.2. You will be responsible for paying for your own courier costs for returning your item. Courier costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

                6.3. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchange product to reach you, may vary.

                6.4. We recommend that you use courier service to return your item, which will provide you a trackable shipping number. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item if you use another shipping method as the South African Postal Service is unreliable.

                7. Exchanges (if applicable)

                  7.1. We only replace items if they are defective or received damaged.

                  7.2. We do not replace items with normal wear-and-tear damage.

                  7.3. If you need to exchange if for the same item, send us an email at customercare@modesse.co.za.

                  7.4. We will require you to return the product to our offices at the following address: MMF Retail (Pty) Ltd t/a Modesse, Stand 2642, 2 Dikkop Street, Southdowns Estate, Irene, Centurion, 0157.

                  8. What will happen once a Product is returned

                    8.1. Once returned, and subject to a product inspection, your account with us will be credited or refunded or replaced, as per your preference.

                    9. Product Inspection

                      9.1. Once returned, and prior to accepting such return, we will be permitted to inspect the product.

                      9.2. Should the product in our reasonable discretion not be suited to be returned, we shall not be obliged to accept such return.

                      9.3. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

                      9.3.1. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and the refund/exchange will be implemented by your method of choice: accounted credited, amount refunded, or product replaced/exchanged. 

                      10. Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

                        10.1. If you have not received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

                        10.2. Then contact your credit card company or bank, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted, estimated refund time is 48 hours to 2 weeks.

                        10.3. If you have done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at customercare@modesse.co.za.

                        11. Excluded Products

                          11.1. The following product(s) shall be excluded entirely from the above returned policy:

                          11.1.1. Facial Fabric Masks;

                          11.1.2. Facial Fabric Mask Filter Refill Packs;

                          11.1.3. Face shields;

                          11.1.4. Shield Visors;

                          11.1.5. Shield Bucket Hats;

                          11.1.6. All of the above-mentioned items are used as non-medical barriers against diseases such as COVID-19.

                          12. Gifts

                            12.1. If the items was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return once the returned item is received.

                            12.2. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and she/he will be notified of the return and refund.

                            12.3. Gift cards are not redeemable for cash or can be reloaded.

                            12.4. Gift cards can only be used once.
